Would you drink a glass of sweet wine if you knew that at the bottom of that glass there was a scorpion waiting to sting you?
This is how many of us enter into sin.
Most men don’t have a discipline problem.
They have an environment problem.
Phone next to bed.
Junk food in the kitchen.
Friends who drink every weekend.
No gym bag ready.
No plan for the morning.
Then you say:
“I need more motivation.”
No.
You need fewer bad defaults.
Average gym locker room experience:
-Guy taking mirror selfies for 15 minutes
-Old dude completely naked having a conversation
-19 year old screaming on every rep
-Guy explaining crypto between sets
-One massive silent dude who could kill everyone there
The real source of confidence:
– you said you’d train → you trained
– you said you’d pray → you prayed
– you said you’d stop texting her → you stopped
Confidence is just self-trust with a receipt.
Two types of men:
Man 1:
Chases motivation.
Trains when he “feels it.”
Prays when life is good.
Speaks about discipline.
Man 2:
Trains when tired.
Prays when confused.
Stays calm under pressure.
Builds quietly.
Man 1 wants results.
Man 2 becomes the man who deserves them.
Focusing on size, G-spots, or tricks trains your brain to worship flesh over character.
That’s why relationships fail, hearts break, and men feel empty.
Invest in her mind first, her soul second, her body last.
The most dangerous lie of our time:
“I am a good person.”
Even Satan believes in God.
But he does not kneel.
He does not repent.
He does not change.
St. John Chrysostom:
“Hell is full of people who thought they were good enough.”
