Dear, @Joe_Davis. The reason Barry Bonds got walked all of those times -in part- was because he was cheating. Yes, he was very good without the cream and the clear, but celebrating him does no one any good. Please stop.
#bobsled#announcing legend John Morgan will be the next guest on https://t.co/KcD4ywlieR podcast. Great chat. Learned as much about baseball history as I did about bobsledding!
@OleTimeHardball That I cannot say, "Absolutely" tells me the answer is no. But he did have the 6th most assists and 4th most double plays for a career. Really good hitter. Better all-around than Harold Baines, certainly. So, yes. Let's do it.
Funniest thing I've read all day. Baker missed at least a dozen calls. @UmpScorecards says 14. The called third to Smith was ridiculous and then two walks were granted on pitches on the other side of the plate that were the same distance away from the plate.
Credit where credit is due. Thought Game 7 home plate umpire, Jordan Baker, called a great game. Just as much pressure on him to not screw this amazing WS finish up. Really all the umpiring was exceptional through the WS. They are humans, so we can’t expect perfect. But they were really really good. My take.
It's as close as it gets, but there is nothing to overturn the call. Looks like a tie at best (if you're a @BlueJays fan and the rulebook says nada about ties going to the runner.
True. Also, as the kids say, #jelly What isn't here is the very long list of prospects the @Dodgers have brought up, especially pitchers, like May, Buehler, Sheehan, etc.
Ohtani
Yamamoto
Freeman
Betts
Sasaki
Snell
Glasnow
Muncy
Hernandez
All drafted and homegrown by the Dodgers. The most inspirational story in sports history. You can't buy moments like this.
Hey @michaelschwab13 , if you were yawning during the @mlb , #2025 #WorldSeries Game 7, you don't know baseball. That's okay. Give us a read and we'll help you out!
@NFLFrascella Hey @NFLFrascella You can't win the game if you don't tie it first. Kiner-Falefa was awflefa at the plate (.162 for the postseason, .062 for the WS). The bunt is the play. You have Barger and Kirk up who've been clutch.
