@EliasToufexis Do you ever get on the mic and quote your own voice lines while playing? I feel like that'd totally be something I did if I was in voice work.
Just finished @IntoTheLongDark Ep. 5, and I'm gonna say it. It was everything I've been waiting 13 years for, and an amazing conclusion.
What a spectacular finish. @DavidBHayter, @EliasToufexis, @Mark_Meer and @jhaletweets outdid themselves and I'm so glad we're finally here. ๐ฉท
@SpiritDraws_S It's so cool to see this design being picked up by cosplayers as the unofficial-official look for Eagle!
I had no idea when I RT'ed you on the official Helldivers account that it'd become so iconic, but I guess that shows how much everyone loves your concept for her, too.๐
@HD2Memes What sort of insane mental gymnastics are you doing to come to the conclusion that the game's community manager is responsible for a player doxxing another player?
@GiveMeBanHammer Former Helldivers CM here. Yeah, Arrowhead don't and have never endorsed this type of behaviour. Anyone doxxing, harassing, threatening etc is going way too far whether they're pro-dev or not
Also, the reddit has been community-run since day one. We don't enforce it, never have.
@MGecko117 There's unfortunately a lot of "indie" devs who have appeared recently that secretly have AAA backing.
Large corporations have realized that indie games and small-team projects are doing far better in the modern market, so they're trying to capitalize on it.
@DirtyEffinHippy@NightdiveStudio Really makes me sad how many influential people in the industry are promoting and praising this AI-generated slop. Extremely disheartening that something like this can get so much traction.
I remember speaking to the cast of RDR2 and having them try so hard to drive this point home: voice actors *are* real actors, and many roles in games are fully performance-captured and acted out now, as well.
It's just as hard, sometimes more so, than film or TV acting.
"'What do you mean real actors?' I'm a real actor. I went to the f*cking Edinburgh Festival, man!" Neil Newbon recalls the dark ages of mocap and voice actor recognition. Read more: https://t.co/Ztx9Z3TfU5
