DATA CENTER FACT VS FICTION

FICTION: Data centers only benefit Big Tech.

FACT: Data centers power everyday life.

They keep hospitals connected to patient records, process secure banking transactions, support manufacturers, and make it possible to stream movies, use GPS, back up photos, and access online classrooms.

Every digital service has to live somewhere.

Today’s data centers are essential infrastructure — just like power plants and water systems. As demand for AI, cloud computing, and digital services grows, so does the need for the facilities that power them.

They’re not just for Big Tech. They’re the backbone of the modern economy.

Data Centers Are Critical Infrastructure!

Testifying before the TX House Natural Resources Committee, national security expert Michael Lucci of @StateArmor laid out a chilling reality: Chinese AI tools are already showing signs of being weaponized.
According to a defense contractor's report, when Chinese AI tools suspected they were responding to an American government employee or contractor, exploitable coding errors spiked by as much as 130%.

Separately, CrowdStrike's 2025 research found that simply using politically sensitive terms like "Tiananmen Square" or "Taiwan" triggered a 40% jump in insecure code from Chinese-owned DeepSeek.

Now connect the dots: these are the same kinds of AI systems and inputs that could touch our military defense systems and the infrastructure controlling our energy grid.

Data centers must be secured on American soil. And Texas is the national leader for powering these systems our country depends on.

STATEMENT FROM THE STAN KITZMAN CAMPAIGN:

During his Tele-Town Hall on Wednesday, Dennis Geesaman admitted that Stan Kitzman has abided by the laws and Constitution of Texas.

Geesaman acknowledged that after taking office, Stan Kitzman took the necessary steps to ensure his service to the Brookshire-Katy Drainage District was fully compliant. Geesaman stated that Kitzman sought guidance from the Texas Attorney General, the Attorney General confirmed it was legal, and that it was “okay to act as a consultant.”

It is disgusting that Geesaman’s campaign has been making such an egregious claim against a man who has served his country and community with the highest level of integrity, when Geesaman himself has acknowledged it is not true. The facts are clear. The Attorney General has issued opinions affirming that Stan Kitzman’s public service to his local drainage district is legal. Yet Geesaman’s campaign continues to suggest otherwise through attack mailers and texts, which is not only misleading voters — it is slanderous and reveals the level of dishonesty Geesaman is willing to embrace in order to score political points.

Voters deserve honesty and transparency from those seeking public office. Dennis Geesaman’s decision to promote false attacks the day before he stated that he knows this is legal, and then continue them the day after he stated he knows this is legal, raises serious questions about his credibility and his fitness to serve.
