After some brief downtime, Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom reopened with the animatronics turned off and only a couple of sounds working due to an extremely rare malfunction.

Fun fact! The spinning pig from America Sings was briefly installed in Splash Mountain during testing. It was intended for the "Laughing Place" scene. The animatronic would be replaced and scrapped before the rides official opening, with the reason why being unknown to this day!
@SplashFan2000 Yes, it is pretty obvious to be honest. Bad faith actors in our community that continue to make us look bad decided that it was against the film, when everyone in the comments and QRTs clearly recognized the intended purpose of the comic. It's a joke, we need to lighten up.

@GreenCheetah99 It is incredible how Splash Mountain's exterior was specifically made to have real grass and not fake grass. Another example of how the "re-theme" fails as a ride.
