Mets fan behind enemy lines. We are all messy right now, but even though Mets fans are used to orange and chaos this current reality has way too much of both.
@GreenfieldMax18@Shamchi93 They have a whole podcast series where they talk about their grievances with the current Yankees. Their biggest complaints are regarding defense and the catchers.
@BrosephSZN@HalToHell@BaseballBilly3 You're doing something similar to OP, except that at least in your point the players mentioned are comparable to Volpe... And yet the Yankees don't have the privilege of playing Volpe next to someone like Ozzie Albies or Brice Turang. The criticism is of the roster construction.
@BrosephSZN@HalToHell@BaseballBilly3 If the Yankees had the record of either of those teams, or were able to consistently convert double plays on defense, you wouldn't be hearing about their SS and catcher situation as much.
@BrosephSZN@HalToHell@BaseballBilly3 What's funny is that OPs username implies that he hates how ownership handles the Yankees and yet Volpe's presence is one of the biggest criticisms of Hal's front office.
@BrosephSZN@HalToHell@BaseballBilly3 The logic is just as sensible if not more so than OP comparing Anthony fucking Volpe to two Hall Of Fame level defenders.
@pamsson It's fucked up and at best he doesn't realize how stupid he sounds. Paraguay has a very isolationist history and its early leaders tried to mesh the colonial and native populations together while using racism and xenophobia to separate themselves from neighbors like Brazil.
@BravesStash@jdowning711@tylermilliken_ That's why he apologized himself instead of waiting for the media to ask him about it. People like you gotta stop being snowflakes about uncomfortable feelings.
It's not nearly the same, but if I called you a fucking redneck or hick without knowing shit then I'd be wrong anyway.
@upper_pp@toddvs35 For better and for worse, I'm a fifth generation Dominican on my dad's side and even more so from my mom's side, both coming out of San José de las Matas. None of that changes that a kid of Venezuelan parents born and raised in the DR can and should consider themselves Dominican.
