@MunchKim @FairydustDragon @sassyele @_cathyj_ @mad_gemma @katylittlelady @GaranceReine Morning all, hope you are well. I very rarely come on here anymore, it's just not the platform for me now. I'm mainly on instagram and am trying out Threads.

Wisdom and advice for on living a meaningful life. Am I now ready to tackle a crazy project? Maybe not quite that motivated! But I still recommend this for your lunchtime walks. A great head-nodding listen.

Audiobook thread…
I’ve found other people’s one-tweet book reviews useful in creating my to-read list, so thought it was time I joined in.
Starting with some recent adventure story reads (well, listens), I’ll add to this thread each time I finish one.

Not an easy listen, but an incredibly interesting one. A thought provoking and worrying wander through the world's most northern forests. Not bedtime reading, but I'm glad I made the effort.

How do you keep fit? I gave the very popular Couch to 5k programme a go, in an attempt to up my hiking fitness. I've got two long distance hikes planed this year, so I'm hoping it works!

I attempted to write some words about just how epic Iceland is...

Back in summer 2021, I spent two weeks riding my F650GS through the wild and rugged landscapes of this amazing country. I definitely left a bit of my soul behind.

I love @VisitDorset. It's such a beautiful place to walk.

In this post I share two contrasting walks on the Dorset coast. The iconic rugged and rocky one. And another more about the rolling countryside.

Hidden away...

Normally found standing proud atop hills, seen from miles around, marking its place with apparent defiance - this humble trig pillar I bagged on my walk yesterday was much more quiet and unassuming. If I hadn't gone looking for it, I woul… https://t.co/LZ3XOWjwNG

I was invited to @TheWave for a surfing lesson in the white-water of their artificial lake, and to stay in one of their onsite safari tents.

To say I had a good time is an understatement. Surfing is honestly the best fun.

Hiking Red Pike in the Lake District during my coast to coast hike left me with an emotionally difficult memory.

So I returned a year later to hike it again, to reclaim the mountain and my hiking self-confidence. But this time, it snowed...

Doing my best to stick to my #OneHourOutside habit despite the business of life this week.

Riding my motorcycle in Iceland was such a great expeirence, I've put together a list of my top highlights. You know, the biggest views, most powerful waterfalls, best riding roads, and happiest moments.

Along with a couple of the not-so-highlights...

If that first chapter of my #CotswoldWay adventure journal series was subtitled ‘on getting ready’, this post, should be considered ‘chapter two: the walking begins’.

And what a beginning it was!

Views from the Cotswold Way...

The geography of the western edge of the Cotswolds means there are big views at every turn. Here are just a few of them, taken on the first day of my Cotswold Way hike - an 18.5 mile stretch from Chipping Campden to Winch… https://t.co/FGtAezDEnV

My latest review features the Vasque Breeze hiking shoes.

The spec list is strong. They claim to be durable, breathable, grippy, waterproof, and light. And over the last eight or nine weeks, I’ve found them to be those things for me.
