PATCH providers still get a lot of questions about COVID-19 vaccines. This remains the best way for us to get out of this together. As vaccination options open up for kids soon, please help us help you. This WA DOH story reflects how your providers feel. Please…#dotherightthing
Nurses Callie and Hannah work tirelessly each day to keep mothers & birthing people safe from COVID-19. With the recent surge in cases and hospitalizations, the message is clear -- thank health care heroes by getting the vaccine.
PATCH patients: Here’s your chance to contribute to the future of ACHD care: pt-driven data collection. JOIN THE CHI and tell us why you did it. #progressthroughnumbers@ACHD_CHI
Adults with CHD start out as kids with CHD. We are a peds-based ACHD program and I feel compelled to share this well-written thread on COVID-19 in children. #getvaccinated
I am very, very tired and I can't keep having this conversation so I'm just warning you now that once I post this thread I'm muting it because self-care.
COVID in kids is a big deal and it is a serious public health problem.
@AriCedars@AdrienneK_PhD@MoonsPhilip@NKasparian This is so true. For the past 5 yrs our program has screened every CHD pt 12+ with PHQ-9 & GAD-7. They’re not perfect tools but they’re something. Pts & family members thank us quite commonly. The key is the next step AFTER identifying MDD/anxiety. So much to learn/improve upon.
