Fall Hobbit Gathering 2024

This was our first time to the Hobbit Gathering. We played tavern games, learned to dance many Hobbit dances, played moss ball (a Shire original), had afternoon tea, supper, and connected with old friends. We felt worlds away. The day was a perfect beautiful fall day.

I want to go back. Next time I'll be even better at learning the dances. It is foretold 🔮

Mabon Annual Wool Gathering 2024. Living our best Hobbit Life hitting up our favorites of Festival Season. All the woolen friends were so relaxed during shearing and breathed easier without the coats. Artisans from all over come to share in the love of fiber arts.

Met my SIL's neighbor who happened to own a Nova Thunder Laser. My MIL commissioned 4 pumpkin sets for her and her kids' families! She came up with the idea to add fabric. These are my fabric choices! 🥰

I'm super happy with how much my Sourdough skills have improved. My cultures have been thriving since Valentine's Day! Still one of my favorite gifts to have received from hubby.

Oktoberfest 2024. Drank 2 pints, ate pretzels with beer cheese & ground mustard, and an old man asked vulgar questioms about me to E (he refuses to tell me what). Yay! Drunk festival season. Lesson: don't let your drunk family talk to strangers! 😂

Today's dinner is a Greek Salmon Salad. Mixed greens & microgreens from Huron Farms, homemade pickled red onion, red bell pepper, Feta, and Kalamata olives. Salmon was seasoned with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, lemon, and dill.

This succulent died due to my negligence. Three months ago, I started to nurse it to see if I could rescue it. Now, you can see the roots growing and gripping to the rocks. The new growth is looking so healthy.

I got to pick a dress off the "See You Later" rack in the closet. 🥹🥰 And I wore it out to the holiday concert for the 100th Anniversary National Museum of the Air Force. I've lost so much weight since having PT for my broken back. ✨️😊
