You can never truly know somebody. I mean, what they are really thinking and feeling.
No matter how hard you try, you will never be totally sure, never truly know.
Its in these moments of doubts that you realize that you can easily be physically or mentally hurt by them.
Lmaoooooo, that’s how someone I was paying school fees, rent, and giving allowance to in euros woke up one day, and told me that I’m wicked because I begged them to come back to Lagos for summer, so we could save some money, at a time when I needed to restructure my finances.
Like, every calendar year I spend not less than 35k euros on this person. I’ve been too stunned to even address the matter 🤣.
I haven't argued with an APC supporter for over a year tho. I genuinely look at them as inferior subspecies of humans. Your house pet is mentally above these creatures. 🤷♂️
Many of you won’t know what to do if 1.4bn lands in your bank account right now, forget think pieces
But saying you want to use your own to be selling Kote and chicken wings is a discovery 😂😭
Day 8 no light .. prior to this there hadn’t been light 3 weeks ago for almost the same length .
Everything preserved has gone bad. What sort of service is this ????@IkejaElectric#badgovernance#ikejaelectric#nolight
7 days. Zero electricity. Zero communication.
@IkejaElectric has left Shomolu and environs in complete darkness with no update, No fault report,No restoration timeline,No accountability. Nothing.
@NERCNG this is a consumer rights failure. How long are Nigerians supposed to endure this? We deserve better
#IkejaElectric #PowerOutage
It's the third week my Band A Coker Estate in Shasha has been without electricity. We have officially protested to Ponle Office of @IkejaElectric, the response was "We are working to restore power". Last Thursday, power was restored but in bits...2 hours on 5 hours off.
Day 4 of no supply of electricity by @IkejaElectric. There was a protest yesterday at their office in Somolu. Below is the feedback. Up till now, there's still no electricity supply
It’s raining HEAVILY this morning. This is DAY 34 of toddlers, children and their teachers in the bush with terrorists. They are unsheltered, malnourished, mentally and physically abused in ways we cannot even imagine! 34 Days!!! #bringbackourchidren
Help Me Cover My Relocation Costs for My Fully Funded Master’s in the UK 🇬🇧
I’ve been offered a place on the PGCE Early Years Teacher Training programme at the University of Reading.
I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.
But, I need your help!🧵
Dear TL.
I am desperately trying to replace a series of books I lost when I moved from Abuja to Lagos about a decade ago.
The Circle Series, by Ted Dekker.
There are four books in the series;
Black, Red, White and Green.
Please if you know how I can get physical copies of these books, I would be grateful.
I believe in you guys.
Thank you.
