On Halo, I think you are approaching it the right way with the team. This isn’t something I’d dictate that they must do but if they’d find value in it I’d have no issues.

Brian,

Ok, congrats on a cool reboot. I’ve always loved Halo and this new beginning looks fantastic.

So I’ve tried this before a few times and was always rejected. So I’ll try one more time. If there’s anything I can do to help or advise the new studio I’m available.
I’m well aware of the animosity that exists but for my part I’d love to just help a franchise that I love and start fresh.

I heard the Halo music in the trailer and I’m well aware that fans still love the old tunes. That’s not where I believe I would add value, however, but rather as someone who was there creatively from before the beginning.

Keeping me completely outside the process is probably the choice that you folks will make in regards to my involvement, but perhaps think of me as a former player who would love to be one of the assistant coaches on the sideline. Or maybe an emeritus professor coming along side for moral support.

In any case, you’re the only one there who knows me and can share this with the rest of the team.

Seriously great announcements coming today from Halo Studios, I think I loved everything about it. The transparency, the studio rebrand, announce at a core Halo event, the early-look at visuals, the confirmation of multiple games. Halo has a future. Now give them time.
