Eight years ago, Leon Varley, an Icon of the Zimbabwe Tourism and Conservation fraternity, set about raising funds through a 120km “walk for wild” This walk would be done each year in just 24 hours from Victoria Falls to a remote place on lake Kariba called Masuna.
The objective, to raise awareness and funds for the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust. The walk has been a great success each year. In 2020, with the rude arrival of Covid19, the walk is going to go ahead for Leon but those that would like to join him cannot do so physically.
