To get us started on our final day we have a session on 'non-fiction and manuals' 📚
One of our favourite traditions at SLA is including a poetry and open mic night in our program to highlight the amazing talents of our members and continue to celebrate the intersections of sport and art #SportLit2025
And just like that, it is already Day 3 of #SportLit2025! Time is flying by!
To begin today we are looking at representations of 'obsession and fandom' in sport literature 📚
For the final session for Day 2, we are casting our minds back to the early years of SLA and celebrating those who worked to build our community of sport literature scholars #SportLit2025
After our morning coffee break we're back to talk about the pedagogy of sport literature which very close to the hearts of a lot of our members who are leaders in sport literature education #SportLit2025
Next up we have our second fiction panel of the conference and this time we are being transported to the ballpark for some baseball stories #SportLit2025 ⚾️
