Thoroughly enjoyable first Rugby game for the year 7 Boys away to Whickham School. A game played in a great friendly spirit. The boys went down to an excellent side who scored some terrific tries.

Hard fought but fair game away to Hexham middle school in the first round of the Sky Try cup for the y8 Boys. Unfortunately we were losers on the day but the boys have made a teacher very proud with their performance. Try’s by Leroy and Tom and Player of the match for Shay. 🏉

The Y7 boys had two great results last night, they drew 2-2 against a good Kenton team and then won 3-1 against Walbottle. Impressive Debuts by Sam and Bailey.

Really enjoyable night playing Futsal with the Y8 girls. Once they got to grips with the rules they played really well. This picture sums them up perfectly.

The Y7 boys lost both games against St Cuthberts and Gosforth with Geordie grabbing our consolation goal.

The Y9 girls, playing up a year, drew 3-3 with Walbottle and lost 6-5 against Benfield.

A huge well done to everyone involved.

• the y8 girls attended representative trials at Benfield.
• the Y8 boys (including some y7 boys and girls) played two games against St Cuthberts and Gosforth Easy.

• the Y9 boys (including some Y8’s) then followed this up by playing Walbottle and Kenton.

Unfortunately we were without a win in all games but with plenty of endeavour.

What an excellent performance today by the Y7 girls losing 5-3 in the Sky Try Plate final. After being 3-0 down at half time the girls showed fantastic courage to win the second half 3-2. Fantastic achievement to reach the final after only playing Rugby for 6 weeks.

What a performance by the Y7 girls this evening winning their Plate Cup Semi Final away at Oxclose. They are now through to the final which will be held at Kingston Park a week on Sunday.
