@Hockey_Robinson Watching Canada lose to Finland and then Swiss and Finns putting a defensive clinic made me realize that in Canada not enough is paid attention to when it comes to shut down skills and raising new Bergerons. Dupont is great and all but his defensive games is not there.
@Josephk90 It is not a given however. NHL playoffs are more and more about the team rather than a single star player. He is great however, I would rank him a notch below Crosby at his age but he is a level above Bedard clearly. He see the game better than 99% of current NHL players.
@TSN_Sports Hockey is evolving fast. This Finland played a perfect game with great control in every zone. The way it works now is you must have every player who can defend against elite offense. Finland had more players of that type with Barkov being the best. Tavares & others dont belong.
@Sportsnet Dumb IIHF made hockey a regional sport. Less and less people watch IIHF events forget about the fact that from an excellent annual World Junior Championship they made a joke. That also hurts hockey popularity everywhere including in the CHL.
@zerohedge Energy spot prices are no longer attached directly to the markets. Instead the prices are mainly controlled by major players who buy and sell paper barrels to themselves. The amount of wash traded paper barrels is so overwhelming that until stocks are empty the prices will be low
@zerohedge Paper barrels wash traded and that is the only reason oil prices are down. However I do not believe this system can survive much longer. Shit is going to hit the fan.
@ReviewOfHockey Team of older foreign players who were sold an idea that they can become next Makar. Funny enough the management is milking Makar's legacy where there will not be another Makar as they don't recruit enough Alberta boys even though Alberta kids are majority in their ID camps.
