@MO8ManFootball
Illinois uses a 100yd field in 8-man. Is this something MO should consider?
REASONING:
-Maintaining traditional 11-man concepts
-Improves importance of kicking game
-Helps defenses by defending longer field-more punts
-Helps transition from 11-man to 8-man
#IDontWantToOverreactBUT Matt LaFleur's failure to call a TO 30s earlier to end the first half, may cost him his job. It forced McManus to attempt a 55yd FG in the windy city & that was the beginning of the end for McManus & the Packers. The meltdown began on that decision.

@MissouriScoop I value your arguments/take on this. I agree with different than other sports. Smaller classes may view it differently, such as a C1-2 team who had lost 1-2 top players for a couple weeks & wouldnt have the backups at hand like a larger class but are back for playoffs.
@MissouriScoop It does, however, allow the 32nd team to be in the playoffs, have a goal to obtain and sense of purpose. They know they'll be competing against backups, likely, and allows top team to have a game & rotate as they see fit instead of week of nothing going on. Just food for thought!
