@BruceUnfiltered I'm not opposed to a sensible renewable plan and a transition to sustainable energy BUT it has to be done over a longer time period and mix in nuclear options.
The tax on private schools doesn't lift anyone up, it just removes the opportunity for working class people to privately educate their kids.
People with money pay the tax and move on #government#uk#LabourParty
Note to all the pearl-clutching Tories out in force today…
You don’t HAVE to send your kids to private school. We have universal education provision in this country.
If you *choose* to do so, the rest of us shouldn’t pay for you to have a tax break for the privilege.
@UncleSteveOG Is that accurate? You won't be taxed on the capital gained from your shares once sold but you will be taxed on any interest earned on that capital gained once it's cash.
Players who have all time season tend not to go and have another at that age as well. He is a great player. The club were screwed either way imo. If they let him go, how do they replace him, if they extend his contract at 400k a week (I think it is) then they are paying a premium for a player who has probably just peaked. Let's see how it plays out.
@Evo7040_79@Lea_EFC None of them. I am a United fan. We did the same thing with Rashford. Contract expires, he has a great season, they give him a bumper deal and he drops off a cliff. Salah does have a better track record but he's also getting older.
