As you consider a #careerinsports be sure to ask yourself - will you love your job enough to work nights / weekends / holidays and (likely) make less money than your friends? It's an AMAZING career, but be sure you're going in eyes wide open

BUT there is also a lot of great basketball, with premium access to intel and practices...it's a TON of fun, but need to be aware of the challenges in the role too

So what is life like as an @NBA scout? lots of hotels, rental cars and solo meals...also a lot of downtime (often you're in the city / town all day, with nothing to do till the game tips off at 7:30p)

The sad reality - that nobody will want to admit - is that a LOT of the "road warriors" embrace the solo time away from family & friends, and leave a lot of broken relationships behind them
