What a great day for the @HoustonTexans. Heading into Day 2, these were the guys I liked. The Texans got 3 of them, 2 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd. Great maneuvering by Nick Caserio, getting a young OL to build around in Tae Ersery and 2 WR weapons in Higgins and Noel.
The Texans in the 2nd have #34 and #58 overall.
In the 3rd, they have #79, 89 and 99 overall.
Here's who I like in that range:
OL Aireontae Ersery, Tate Ratledge, Jonah Savaiinaea, Jared Wilson
WR Luther Burden, Jayden Higgins, Jack Bech, Jaylin Noel, Jaylin Royals, Tre Harris

Day 1 was a letdown but the Texans have two 2nd rounders and three 3rd rounders on Day 2. That may be Nick Caserio's sweet spot-- think Calen Bullock, Blake Fisher and Kamari Lassiter from 2024 draft, all 2nd and 3rd round picks and all starters by midseason.
TAA coming up at 6 PM...then the SHOW starts on @sportsradio610. @texansvoice, Dre, @sportsradioRH & yours truly for First Round Thursday night!

Nick Caserio just couldn't wait to get started. Stay tuned to @SportsRadio610 tonight for all the trades and moves made by the Texans and the other 31 teams. We'll have the trades and the picks live from the @HoustonTexans draft party before those TV networks do.
@jharrisfootball@TexansVoice My all-time favorite in-person draft moment with my guys @TexansVoice@jharrisfootball & AW11. There've been some other big ones: NYC for '02 draft, 2017 trade up in 1st, and a surprising 1st rounder in 2011. But this moment in 2023 is by far the best! #NFLDraft#htownmade
@PCreighton1 You sure about that? @BaseballAmerica, @baseballpro, @fangraphs and @keithlaw all had 1 or 2 of those guys in their top 7 coming into this season. There's a million prospect rankings out there, but those 4 are among the most reliable there are.
59 is harder to project but I like these guys in particular. There should be good options at interior DL and WR.
WR- Troy Franklin, Malachi Corley, Ja'Lynn Polk
DL- Kris Jenkins, Maason Smith, Braden Fiske, Mike Hall, Brandon Dorlus
CB- TJ Tampa, Max Melton
S- Tyler Nubin
Nick Caserio has the draft ammunition tuo trade up but doesn't have to because one of these guys should be there:
CBs- Kool-Aid McKinstry, Cooper Dejean (more S than CB imo), Mike Sainristil, Andru Phillips
DL- Johnny Newton, Marshawn Kneeland
WR- Adonai Mitchell, Ladd McConkey
