With all of the talk about playing so many CBs, Safeties and some LBs in the slot who is going to play the regular CB & Safety spots ? This is a deep class of players who can hold up outside at CB or deep at safety.
Not often that I can remember a former Walk-On running a 4.34 40 yard dash. Treydan Stukes is a super easy kid to bet on, as he’s been betting on himself for a long time now. Better overall football player than his secondary counterpart IMHO
@BenFennell_NFL Give a clear view of the player, best fits and ways they can succeed or fail and most likely outcome with their thoughts/opinion tied in.
This might be a truly scorching Earth take for some, but I can see a world that unfolds where in 2028, the most impactful Safety taken in the 2026 NFL Draft from the state of Ohio wasn’t the one playing college ball in Columbus…
@TFG_Football Alabama offense didn’t do him many favors. Has flaws in his game but carried as much on his plate as any QB they have had. Supporting cast was inconsistent at best. Was great early and had moments late. Stopped using legs mid way through season. Interested to see what you see
@iNoSports_@PhillyFanHND I think that would be a great pairing. Versatile and somewhat interchangeable. That allows the safeties to truly be weapons. I think Pittsburgh started stretching Minkah too thin by putting too much on his plate.
@PhillyFanHND@iNoSports_ Downs ability to think/feel his way through the game from year 1 on is definitely special. Just weird that usually a DB who wins that way usually takes the ball away, not saying he can’t just saying it’s not automatic. He’ll have to do it his own way. Interested how a DC uses him
@iNoSports_@PhillyFanHND Taylors kind of another category b/c he could affect the game in every way from the safety position not to mention the physicality/gear factor, he did all of that and took the ball away. Downs has elite play discipline which is essential b/c of his lack of special natural ability
The Evolution of NFL Linebackers!!!🚨🚨🚨
Great linebackers can do it all!!! Don’t just train like a LB.. Train like a DB,DL,Edge Rusher, and all! More you can do, more plays you make!
What seems weird with this draft is if teams try to pick players to build around as the main guy they will be let down. A ton of supporting players in this class, should be value well into day 3.
Another thing to watch is can the Alabama front eat up blockers and keep the smaller Alabama LBs clean so they can run free otherwise it could be tough.
Something to watch in Indiana/Alabama game is can Alabamas group of talented young CBs cover Indianas WRs?? It will allow the front and safeties to play more aggressively.
@patriotcircle3@ToddAtkinsMMA@BrooksAustinBA A great addition to the current group. Pierre is a freak, Keenan is a beast and imo 23 has been the most consistent down to down. Starting to look more like an old bama front.
