All real fans want to see this tradition upheld.
It's only the basement dwelling virgins that will use it as banter material.
In a sport that is sorely lacking in true sportsmanship, the guard of honour is the only true touch of class that still exists.
Liverpool fully deserves it, and I hope it will act as motivation for our players to up their game next season.
@DeanJamesAFC I see people downplay it because we drew 12 games. They conveniently ignore the fact that over the entire 49 game run, it was 36 wins and 13 draws.
Also the fact we won the league with games to spare and still didn't lose.
@GilbeyDean@seriouslyFFS Yes, I do.
What I'm saying is I can fully understand why people are ignoring his plea because they don't want it to be their child next.
@Felon82 They were more concerned about the trauma caused by having his turban removed than the lad that had been brutally stabbed.
Absolutely sickening.
@Christianjw92 Against Spurs 100%.
Against any of the others, I don't care enough to even watch the game, let alone go out and spend money on a full kit to wear, then run bollock naked down the street, celebrating like my own team just won the competition.
Proper gimp behaviour.
