[Corey Masisak @cmasisak22]

#Avs GM Joe Sakic said he still expects Cale Makar to sign a new contract before the season starts. He didn’t have any updates on Artturi Lehkonen or Jared Bednar. Said he’s not worried about Bednar’s deal and he doesn’t think Bednar is, either.

[The Hockey Corner @Sportsman341]

Oh really?

[The Hockey Corner @Sportsman341]

According to Andy Strickland, it sounds like St. Louis Blues defenceman Adam Jiricek could play with the Brampton Bulldogs thus year

I think this is a solid idea... I think that we might wanna move Tavares to the wing to have a top 3 centre's of Matthews, Domi, Gourde. U can also move Glurde to the wing.

[Willyston Riellander @nylanderthews]

i'm curious about yanni gourde's availability

SEA has beniers and wright and just signed stephenson to a massive contract

he only has a year left so you could probably get them to retain 50% to get him at ~$2.6M

with his playstyle and he can play 2C/3C, he's the perfect target

[Leafs Updates @LeafsUpdates21]

Cowan is a legit blue-chip prospect

He dominated his D+1 year in the OHL, hitting marks rarely (or never) seen in the league

He is an extremely smart and responsible player for his age and can be a factor on the PP & PK

I have no doubt he'd do just fine on the roster this szn

[Pro Hockey Rumors @prohockeyrumors]

The Philadelphia #Flyers have re-signed a young offensive defenseman
