Here’s a thing.
Yesterday I filled a Volvo XC40 Recharge with 55kW of energy at an Ionity fast-charge station, cost £38.30. Was averaging 38kW/100 miles, so bought 145mile range.
In a diesel at 45mpg, those miles would have consumed 3.22 galls. At £7.50/gal that’s £24.
