The UKStratCom flash is based on an 80-year-old design. The original design consisted of a “Tommy” gun, an eagle, and a stockless anchor, representing land, sea, and air forces. There are now more than 50 variations of the insignia worn by militaries worldwide.

Education isn't about the ability to remember and repeat, in which people study to pass exams, and teach others to pass exams, but nobody knows anything.
It is the ability to learn from experience, to think, solve problems, and use our knowledge to adapt to new situations. 🧠

“teaching duty… in peacetime… was not only necessary but also natural for army professionals.”
Any military organisation that doesn’t have this as part of its ethos cannot call itself a full member of the profession of arms.
