When the only option to decline is "don't use our service" and/or "delete everything you've uploaded before AI even existed", then there's no consent and it shouldn't be legal. Especially when thousands of artists who uploaded have died before AI existed.
My best friend John would have turned 36 this year. He never got the chance.
Not a day goes by that I don't wish he'd stayed with us long enough to see what impact his art had on people. The people who's lives he's influenced over the years. The years he never got to live.
Rest in Peace, John.
I make this post during this Mens Mental Health Awareness month to say this:
Check in in your friends. Especially the ones who always seem fine. Especially those that seem to carry everything on their own.
Too many men are fighting battles in silence. Too many feel like they have to carry the weight of the world alone because they've been taught that aksing for help isn't what a "man" is supposed to do.
This Month, reach out. Send the message. Make the call. Let the people in your life know they matter.
You never know who might need to hear it.
@LewdWhorseVA cut the bullshit! Your “reputation” was ruined when you sexually assaulted a child in 2015! Enough of the lies and misinformation. Tell the truth for once in your life you lying sack of useless shit! #StopWubcake
@halobladeUNITE@SnowyBug09 This goes for delivery drivers, too! Over half of what we make is because of tips because 3rd party delivery services barely pay anything for the order
no bc she’s absolutely correct. creators don’t have an obligation to adhere to fans’ headcanons and i’m sick of some of y’all acting like vivziepop hates your fav or is a bigot just bc your headcanon didn’t become canon
This is what happens when companies let AI be judge, jury, and executioner. Accounts randomly get banned left and right. We've seen it with YouTube, we've seen it with Twitter, now with Discord.
This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
