Mikel Arteta has started Kai Havertz as the main striker 36 times for Arsenal.
The Gunners have only lost three of those games, with the third coming on Sunday against Manchester City.
Arsenal have never lost at the Emirates Stadium with Kai Havertz as the starting striker.
The German has 26 goal contributions in 36 games as the number nine under Mikel Arteta.
If Kai Havertz starts all of the remaining games as the centre forward, then Arsenal have a great chance of still winning the league.
I love Bukayo Saka, but let’s be honest he isn’t carrying Arsenal. At his peak at Arsenal, Alexis Sánchez was a better player than any version of Saka we’ve seen so far.
Alexis dragged the team forward on his own and had strong chemistry with a striker like Giroud. Saka, on the other hand, struggles with decision-making in the final third, particularly when it comes to squaring the ball to his striker.
Given that he’s close to becoming our highest-paid player, those conversations are fair. He needs to work more with his striker and focus on team play.
