There's only a few people who relate to me, especially at this age. Being myself means taking a loss socially. But once you're on your own island, you can really build the perfect home for yourself and nobody is around to sabotage it.
I'm realizing just how many people look down on me. How fast opinions are formed. How isolated I am because of that. But I'm happy, and focused. I contribute good things into the world and take accountability for the bad. Why should I worry about those peoples' opinions of me?
The best thing to do in life is to look just a little bit ahead of where you are now, and don't let negativity stop you from reaching that next step. Rinse and repeat.
So it's like... Every step in life tests what you're willing to give up for the greater good. Like are you willing to be the martyr? If yes, you get to be a good contribution to the world but your reward is unresolved pain and continual hardship that only death relieves. K thx.
When you go through some truly traumatic stuff and you don't have a solid family or friends, you never recoup from it. It's like the amount of damage that was done is on a cellular level, and ppl simply don't want to help. Yet, they also won't acknowledge your scar either.
So you develop superhuman strength and at some point you're able to make it far in life. But then... People treat you like all you have was handed to you. Honestly it'd be easier if I hated people, I could be an independent success, but I just don't.
