What an absolute honor and privilege it was to have the iconic Darlene Love on the Spring-Nuts Cafe podcast last night. What a spectacular woman in every sense of the word. Her stories were inspiring and incredible. We had a ton of laughs and fun! Darlene even sang for us!

Here's a segment where Darlene talks about her history with @StevieVanZandt and @springsteen . How they met, how Stevie kept his promise to record her album, and how @MVZaGoGo is her go to in making sure everything is legit!

You can view the whole episode on our YouTube channel right here:

Do not waste your time with these imbeciles. "He defended you." 🙄 Defended you from what? His defending I'm sure carries so much weight...🙄
He doesn't know you and speaks for no one. If he only knew the compassion and love you have for animals not to mention humans, he should be embarrassed. Don't pay attention and let him disappear back into the ether. "Defended" 😂🙄

🚨🎙️ NEW EPISODE OF THE SPRING-NUTS CAFÉ PODCAST TOMORROW NIGHT, OCTOBER 13TH, AT 8 PM ET!! 🎙️🚨

🌟 THE ONE AND ONLY, THE LEGENDARY DARLENE LOVE!! 🌟

My friends, there are musicians, there are legends, and then there are those rare individuals who have helped shape the very history of rock and roll. Tomorrow night, we have the absolute honor and pleasure of welcoming one of those extraordinary musical icons to the Spring-Nuts Café — the incomparable DARLENE LOVE!!

What can you possibly say about a woman whose voice has been part of the soundtrack of our lives for more than six decades?

From her groundbreaking work with Phil Spector and some of the most unforgettable recordings in music history, to her legendary Christmas performances, her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and, of course, her incredible connection to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Darlene Love is nothing short of a musical treasure.

And the most amazing part? SHE’S STILL GOING STRONG!!

Tomorrow night, Darlene will join myself, Ryan Hilligoss, Jewlie Sokol Chaz, and Stan Goldstein for what promises to be an absolutely fascinating conversation about her remarkable life, her extraordinary career, the legendary artists she’s worked alongside, and the stories behind the music that has touched generations.

But as you all know, here at the Spring-Nuts Café, we love going beyond the music. We want to get to know the person behind that incredible voice. The experiences, the friendships, the challenges, the triumphs, and the memories that have made her journey so extraordinary.

Think about it, my friends. This is a woman who hasn’t just witnessed rock and roll history. SHE HELPED MAKE IT!!

And tomorrow night, we’re going to have the privilege of hearing some of that history directly from the woman who lived it.

So grab your favorite beverage, pull up a chair, and join us right here in our little Café for another unforgettable evening of music, memories, laughter, and storytelling.

TOMORROW NIGHT! TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH! 8 PM ET!

THE LEGENDARY DARLENE LOVE — LIVE AT THE SPRING-NUTS CAFÉ!!

You know the drill, my friends. Spread the word, invite your friends, and don’t miss this one!

Because nights like these are exactly why we created the Spring-Nuts Café in the first place. Bringing the people who helped create the music we love into our homes, sharing their stories, and reminding us why that music has meant so much to so many of us for so many years.

SEE YOU ALL AT THE CAFÉ!! 🎙️🎶❤️

This one is one of those tracks that I always thought and felt would be performed live much more than it has been. Love this as a show closer but I remember how much I loved this song on the reunion tour. Such a smoking rocker.

I've always felt that Further On Up the Road is as much about the people we've lost as it is about those of us still traveling life's highway.
We all have people we wish we could see one more time. People we'd give anything to hug again, speak to again, or simply sit beside for another few minutes.

And perhaps that's the greatest comfort this song offers. That goodbye doesn't necessarily mean forever. That somewhere beyond the struggles, the darkness, and the miles still ahead of us, there might be another meeting waiting.

It's a song about accepting life's inevitable destination without allowing that knowledge to steal the joy, purpose, and meaning from the journey itself.

Because sometimes faith isn't about knowing exactly what's waiting at the end of the road. It's about believing that the people we've loved, and the love we've shared, will somehow be waiting for us further on up the road.
And to me, that's what makes this song so beautiful.

If there's a light up ahead, well brother I don't know 🤷‍♂️
But I got this fever burnin' in my soul
So let's take the good times as they go
And I'll meet you Further On Up The Road....

Have a Magnificent Monday my friends! 🎸🎷🙌🏻 @springsteen #springsteen
