We are thrilled to say that RPD Kenai’s surgery was a success. He has had his elbow pinned and is expected to make a full recovery.
Thanks to your incredible generosity, over £11,000 has been raised to support Kenai and Miki, both of whom served with North Yorkshire Police. Miki’s surgery takes place tomorrow, and your support will also enable us to provide ongoing care through hydrotherapy and physiotherapy to help get them back on their paws.
From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of retired police dogs Kenai and Miki, thank you so much. It is because of you that we are able to continue our work supporting these heroes when they need us most.
Get well soon, Kenai, we are all rooting for you and wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery. 💙🇬🇧🐶🚔
We’ve had a great two days at #Crufts, joined by our friends from Staffordshire Police, the Royal Air Force Police, and retired police dogs Sox and Eva from Surrey and Sussex Police. Come and say hello to the team in Hall 2 – Stand 192 today and tomorrow! 💙🐶🚔🇬🇧
After a lifetime of service, police dogs receive no pension when they retire. We are therefore calling on the Government to do the right thing and provide centrally funded pensions for police dogs across the UK. It’s the least they deserve after spending their lives fighting crime and protecting communities. You can support our campaign by signing the petition here: https://t.co/pCV58goGpj #PensionsForPoliceDogs 💙🇬🇧🐶🚔
🎉 We’re absolutely delighted to announce that @AFPetInsurance has generously donated £20,000 to our foundation! 💙🐾 Since our launch in 2020, they’ve contributed an incredible £200,000+ to help power our mission of supporting serving and retired police dogs, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their continued support. We’re celebrating this amazing partnership by spending the weekend with them at Dogstival in the beautiful New Forest! 🐶🌳🇬🇧 Thank you, Animal Friends - here’s to making even more of a difference together! 🫶
CAD 11-0444 PD CLOUD is looking very smug. Thats because after a Robbery of an elderly man in @KentPoliceShep where personal items and over £2000 were stolen. Patrols have quickly arrested the suspects and after a route search PD CLOUD has found the cash and items hidden #Nose4it
Thanks to @BarkingHeads and @ThinBluePaw for the food package. Maybe if I sit here and look hungry, someone will actually open a packet for me; can't you see I'm wasting away!
