After the Reservoir we went to the Sagamore AMD Site in Indian Head. The kids saw firsthand that Mtn Watershed identified a problem and are rehabilitating a freshwater ecosystem by filtering acid mine drainage before it enters Indian Creek.

It was the PERFCT day for maiden voyages of our SeaPerch ROV’s! Students took turns as captains, testing their robots’ maneuverability in a MUCH BIGGER POOL! Groups took a sample and had it tested by Jace and Morgan from Mtn Watershed.
