Tomorrow I get to meet three new sets of Yr 4s at Springfield Junior with @woodenroots and I am THIS EXCITED!!

This week all classes have had an RE day!
Some amazing depth of thinking around key concepts.
YR4 used the painting ‘Who Cares?’ by Mauricio Palacio to learn about the founder of The Salvation Army, William Booth. They used drama to explore the painting and deepen the learning.
This whole half term, Year 4 have had Dance Artist Sam Moss teaching their weekly PE dance unit.
They have been deepening and retrieving previous learning about Roman Myths. Fantastic!

Last week @FunnelwickLimb visited Year 4 ahead of their Atom & Luna project in literacy. @MurrayLYoung shared some of his HILARIOUS poetry and helped the children squash unlikely ideas together to create a story completely unique.
Mrs Cooper has joined us this term, she will be teaching Music lessons, 1:1 tuition and of course ROCKING OUT in our singing assemblies each week!
......And we're BACK! Lovely to have noisy corridors and life back in the building. It's looking to be an exciting year at Springfield and we can't wait to share it with you all!

YR 6 started designing their 'legacy' mural with local visual artist Catalina Carvajal this week. We cannot wait to see it brighten up our playground in the next few weeks!

Talk about inspiration and impact! After our puppet show with @YouthPuppetsUK , one younger student created a recreation of the puppet stage and set from a shoe box and another saved up his birthday money to buy craft supplies to create his own puppet! @CETSuffolk
