Year 3 had a lovely world book day yesterday. They came dressed up and took part in lots of activities about books. They also enjoyed looking at the potato book characters made by the rest of the school.
Year 3 have loved their forest school sessions this half term. As past of their final lesson this week, they used a range of materials to create shelters ⛺️ @Springwellpark_
Today was an important day in school - voting day! Each year group used their ballot paper to vote for their class councillors for 2025-26. It was an important model for our pupils to understand how democracy works in our school, the wider community, and the U.K.. Well done, Y3!
Yesterday, Y3 had a great time at the Roman Deva experience in Chester. Walking the city streets kitted out as Romans and training in the historic, centuries-old amphitheatre showed us what life as a Roman soldier would be like. We learned a lot about everyday Roman Life.
We have lots of exciting books to be given out next week for our reading rewards in 3K. Remember to continue reading at home every night 😃📚 @Springwellpark_
Today, Year 3 enjoyed a design and technology workshop where they had to design and make a desk-tidy. Our next step is to paint them before they’re taken home.
3L were visited by archaeologist, Dr Hill. We learned about Liverpool during the different periods of the Stone Age. We saw and held actual artefacts and also practised some of the survival techniques that stone age Britons would have had to use daily. @Springwellpark_
