We have a new hobby in 6L! This novice fisherman went for a fishing lesson and managed to catch a roach and 3 perch in his very first session! 🎣🐟🐠

6L’s Writer of the Week has really focussed on using powerful verbs and adjectives to draw the reader in a keep them engaged. I can’t wait to read their final independent piece!

6L’s Writer of the Week wrote some fantastic sentences using “show not tell” to explain how a character feels. I can’t wait to see how they apply that to their diary writing next week!
