That's the punchline.

AI isn't replacing cybersecurity professionals.

It's making them more powerful.

Today's defenders are using AI to:

• Detect threats in seconds instead of hours.
• Analyze malware at machine speed.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities.
• Hunt anomalies across millions of logs.
• Automate repetitive security tasks.
• Generate detection rules and incident summaries.

Meanwhile, attackers are also using AI to:

• Create more convincing phishing campaigns.
• Write malware faster.
• Discover vulnerable targets at scale.
• Automate reconnaissance.

So the future isn't:

🤖 AI vs Humans.
It's:
🤖 AI + Humans vs 🤖 AI + Humans.

Cybersecurity has always been an arms race.

AI didn't end that race, it accelerated it.

The organizations that win won't be the ones with the most AI.

They'll be the ones with the best combination of human judgment, experience, and AI-driven automation.

That's why I don't believe AI will replace cybersecurity professionals.

I believe it will replace professionals who refuse to learn how to work with AI.
