Algorand’s builder ecosystem is one of the most technically sophisticated in crypto. But the launchpads that once served it have gone quiet. Let’s change that. Grassroots funding. Non-custodial. Built on Algorand. 🌱https://t.co/gB4RSRJL32 #Algorand
@StaxxOnDexx It’s a slow process. I also think it’s important for builders to remember that even if you are on the low end for viewership, if you give it time and you stay passionate, all the extra woe will pay off eventually. Keep up the great work.
Last weekend we hosted the @Algorand x402 Agentic Commerce hackathon in @42_berlin as the first event of the @BerBlockWeek — and honestly, we were blown away by the builders who showed up.
370+ registrants. $21,200. 41 teams. 36 hours
Here’s what went down 🧵
@AlgoFamily@W0LF0FCRYPT0 I feel strongly that the antidote to this is to stop waiting for VCs and foundations to decide which ideas are worth pursuing. The most resilient projects are built by and for the community. Grassroots beats gatekeeping every time. 🌱
@sergeyshemyakov Bridging the physical and digital with a payment protocol is exactly the kind of thinking that makes agentic commerce interesting.
Congrats on the win!🌱
@StaxxOnDexx The best infrastructure is the kind you stop thinking about. Algorand gave builders a foundation solid enough to forget, leaving them free to focus on what actually matters. Happy birthday to our wonderful community. 🌱
@algerstmehn Seven years. Zero downtime. That's an infrastructure track record most chains can't touch, and its one of the main reasons we chose to build on Algorand. 🌱
The tech is top tier, but I'd push back slightly on where the solutions need to come from. The most meaningful progress in any ecosystem rarely comes from the top down. It comes from builders who see a problem and decide to fix it themselves. We need better mechanisms to allow those builders to shine.
Leadership sets the conditions. Communities build the future. 🌱
@Algo_Bharat Eager to see what comes out of Goa this weekend. Curious though, what happens to runner ups and other competitors that don't make the cut? Some of the best ideas in any hackathon don't take the top prize but deserve to see the light of day regardless. 🌱
Gave the platform a little bit of a facelift today. Added more functionality around milestones and fleshed out a pathway for donation drives. We welcome any feedback! 🌱
@cryp_Alchemist@mochanerd Thanks again, we gave the platform a bit of a facelift and implemented the total funding goal as you suggested. Just want to say again how much we appreciate your input! 🌱
Building solo from idea to implementation is one of the hardest things in this space. And you walked away from your first Algorand hackathon with a prize! That's a great achievement!
A hardware security device built specifically for AI agents is a fascinating problem. Rooting for you to get there. 🌱
@mihej_eth@AlgoFoundation@w3_hub@Algorand 18 project pitches in 36 hours — well done to all the teams. Can't wait to see these prototypes turn into funded, community-backed projects. 🌱
Folks Finance in a handbook aimed at governments and central banks — that's Algorand's real world credibility story in one line.
The infrastructure being built on this chain is increasingly hard to ignore. 🌱
Folks Finance is part of @GBBC_io’s 101 Real-World Blockchain Use Cases.
The handbook is a valuable guide for government agencies, regulators, and central banks, providing an educational resource to deepen their understanding of blockchain & digital assets.
