@BBCPolitics In the current global climate any Prime Minister/Government serious on defence would be cutting other budgets (overseas aid, net zero, benefits) to tackle security issues as a matter of priority.

@HonestHalo Actually - most of the people did not vote for the current Labour policies and it is the government that is destabilising the country.

@AlistairCarns Spot on. Sadly the PM and Chancellor appear to be hell bent on funding welfare, net zero, overseas aid etc rather than defence. Their perception of security is somewhat questionable.
