@RunItBackFDTV@MichelleDBeadle@ChandlerParsons@TeamLou23@boogiecousins On the bright side, knowing this franchise, prob won’t have to worry about it for another 53 years. On the other hand, people can just get used to seeing the Spurs contending, and winning, for a long time. Again. This season has just been a valuable bonus & learning experience.
@YnotFRMdaRoc@JahlilWill I agree, we’ve just gone out of our way to show a lot of inexperience in crunchtime. In every single loss. Credit to NY for taking advantage of that, as a championship team should do.
🚨 Knicks vs Spurs Playoff Contrast
Knicks fans in San Antonio:
“Everyone’s cordial, respectful… I’m having a great time!”
Spurs fans in NYC:
Chased, assaulted, and stomped on outside MSG.
Hospitality in Texas vs. chaos in New York.
@lockedupjb Just hating on Wemby while this person can. The future is brighter in SA than anywhere. Every championship team goes through some heartbreak first. The Spurs front office will address the few needs we have, & Dynasty 2.0 is loading with the new “Big 3.”👽🏰
Knicks pull off a Game 4 W for the ages. My takeaways:
-The Spurs need a heartbreak to prep for their eventual Championship, and tonight was it. Every great team has gone through this. They'll cry in the locker room tonight and be better for it in the coming seasons
-I never felt SAS' lead was safe. The Knicks are the more mature team, they're physical, and they smell blood when it's in the water. You can't let a team like that hang around. You gotta kill them off fully
-Experience is trumping talent in this series. The Spurs are the most talented team left, but the "somewhat" talented, ultra-experienced extremely gritty Knicks know how to close. Last year's heartbreak, imo, against Indiana built this
-Beat the Spurs now. Because Wemby and Dylan Harper for the next 10 years is scary.
@KevinButlerOKC@ElijahCone@cmonChuckk I’m pretty sure he just told them to give some hard fouls. Not intentionally hurt them. If guys are going to hang on him like a jungle gym, neither he not his teammates are going to stand for it. Stop being biased against him because the Thunder lost. Goes both ways on the bias.
Victor Wembanyama is the most interesting, intelligent, charismatic, eccentric, talented, hardworking, & dignified young superstar in the history of team sports. The slander against him is abhorrent. All because he committed the ultimate sin in sports media: compete against NY.
@LeBatardShow@cmonChuckk@ZaslowShow@jeremytache Rent free. Soft, insecure fans… even if they win, which they should after getting a 2-0 lead on the road, it’s just sad and soft. I guess 53 years of being irrelevant will do that though. The Spurs will dominate them & the rest of the league before long. For a long time.
@PaulGelb No, but maybe one for enduring night after night of reckless, cheap, overly physical, againstvthe rulebook, defensive plays to try and slow him down. There’s a difference between “playoff basketball” and “desperation/cheap tactics playoff basketball”.
@ClutchPoints@NYPost_Brazille You go, Jose. Go untie Wemby’s shoes and show him who’s boss. As if anyone in the league would be worried about anything coming out of your mouth. Meanwhile, tell your teammates to stop hanging on him, pulling on him, grabbing his jersey, etc.
@KevinButlerOKC@ElijahCone@cmonChuckk Cut the BS D that desperate players try to do to Wemby, night in & night out. Then Wemby won’t get so fed up. Enough is enough. These players need to evolve their defensive skill set now that the league has a player with size & talent never before seen. Deal with it, defenders.
@JoshReynolds24 While I know this is not tepresentative of the actual GOOD, respectable Knicks fans, these types of people need to get a life. Absolute mindless losers.
