I don't know how to go about this.

On Friday, July 25th, 2025 my sweet Sputnik lost a very short but intense battle with cancer at just 4 years old.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by those who cherished him, wrapped in his favourite blanket.

I made sure to tell him to live to the absolute fullest in his next life, and all the ones after that.

Live a long and happy second life, my sweet boy. Catch all the bugs, shred all the boxes, enjoy all the snuggles.

And when it's time, I'm sure we'll meet again.

Sputnik was loved beyond measure and his absence is going to always be felt.

I lost a part of my heart and a part of my soul last night. I'm broken and shattered.

He was such a good boy. My sweet, silly, gentle, loving, grumpy, cardboard box obsessed boy.
