Death sentence for criticizing Al Arabiya TV station!

In April 2016, Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Tarifi was arrested by Saudi authorities following online posts criticizing Al Arabiya media outlet and certain religious practices of the Saudi state.

Directly following this, he was held incommunicado, with little public information released about formal charges or a sentence.

He has since been held in solitary confinement in al-Hair prison, and Saudi Arabia's Public Prosecution has sought the death penalty against him, according to human rights group ALQST
