We do, however, successfully find a beach with nice views! Which seems like a fine note to end a day on.

It's now Saturday the 14th of August (honestly, it is, I swear), and the next stop on our adventure is a holiday home in southern Jutland.

We take a ferry to the island of Als, enjoying a vegan pastry and a cup of tea in the... er... lovely weather.

We get back on the road and head towards our holiday home, pausing in the town of Gråsten to visit the Royal Kitchen Gardens, full of nice herbs and flowers which we manage not to photograph at all.
