I love the Knicks and I’m happy to be at the parade, but this has to be one of the WORST events I’ve ever attended. No organization, just chaos. Like there’s just no way this was the best they could do.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani says his father once let him be late for school to watch Senegal’s victory over France at the 2002 World Cup — joking that “on-time attendance didn’t stand a chance against Pan-Africa.”
Now, history comes full circle as Senegal faces France at MetLife Stadium on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
LeBron James explains why he couldn’t date a stay-at-home woman: “Coming home every day and seeing someone sitting on the couch just chilling wouldn’t float for me.” 👀
My unsolicited take on this viral video is that it’s sometimes very hard to know what to do in these situations.
I once took my son in a men’s bathroom because the women’s was occupied and he desperately needed to go. He was 3. A man walked in shortly after us and completely understood.
My son is now seven and shouldn’t be in the girls’ bathroom, but I still struggle to let him go in the men’s room alone in certain places. My husband tries to avoid taking our daughter at all because of this exact dilemma.
This man was clearly helping small children and was not a case of a cross-dressing dude creeping in the women’s room. Perhaps some dads would’ve taken their girls into the men’s room. Some, maybe not. We need to extend grace for parents doing the best they can in a world where leaving your children alone can be scary.
Seeing yt people going to bat for that black lady whose dog was killed by police. A lot of them are donating to her go-fund me. I’m not mad at all but it’s like damn.
“Oh, you love to read? You should join our book club!”
But you see the problem is I don’t want to be told what to read, because then I automatically don’t want to read it.
