@jeffday@mikage__akari The arms are a bit different proportion wise to what Ive seen, but isnt this a species with cryptic biodiversity? I think there are 3 species in the Pacific, all under the same name. This could be why. Also I'm basically off of Twitter nowadays, so reach out to me elsewhere

A #deepsea#squid species from the family Chiroteuthidae. Interesting species for their size, having a secondary fin (not intact here) and loooooong tentacles (check out the video).
