@planefag I feel this isn’t a conclusive ending, and with the way variables seem to be shifting, that things could end up swinging in a wildly different direction before this ends.

I just hope we get a Good End and that this whole thing wasn’t a wasted effort that returns to status quo.

Today is the Corpsmen’s Birthday!

My grandpa was a Corpsman before he Commissioned. I never got to talk to him about any of that, since the last time I saw him I was about 8.
I nearly followed that route, but had a bout of self doubt and took another path instead.

Today I saw a jeep speeding along hit a pothole and start swerving badly trying to regain control, looking like it was about to roll over just before they saved it.

@VisualFidelity I was already pretty hesitant. Halo 1 has always been my favorite, and 343 has done a dogshit job with the series. This really kills what marginal enthusiasm I had.
Maybe I’ll pick it up on sale in a year or something after modders have had time to fix it up…

Biggest problem now is just finding the attention and focus to try and work on it or anything else. Being a NEET gives you infinite time if you have the focus, but being employed... Maybe doing it on my phone might work better.
