Well. This is disappointing. I just canceled my premium subscription because @X rugpulled me and took away the hexagonal profile and NFT verification.
It was literally the reason I started paying to begin with. #web3#Crypto

Why is my profile no longer hexagonal and no longer linking to my NFT @premium?
That and hopes for future web3 integration are the only reason I went premium.
I don't see links to support anymore, but if the perk I signed up for is gone, I'm done paying.
@jimmbomber98888@mike_daddino I already said SGA took it further. LeBron fractured the game and SGA assaulted it further, taking it from fractured to shattered pieces on the ground.
Harden is a fair mention, too. He never had the same level of influence, but he was very destructive with what he did have.
@MicroLeagueApp@PlayoffDude People make those arguments because Jordan was so dominant that the opponents he faced in the 90s had no chance to shine. At their peaks, Barkley, Stockton and Hakeem were all better than SGA was this year or last. The 73-win Warriors were a force, though. https://t.co/onRxD21QZL
Again, more feelings with "better competition". Based on what exactly? By any objective metrics, MJ faced better overall playoff teams throughout his run.
- Higher Win totals
- Higher Net Rating
- Higher SRS
- More 60 win teams
- More 50 teams
- Faced more All-NBA players per series
- Played against 5 of the top 10 GOATS in their prime (Magic, Shaq, Duncan, Bird, Olajuwon).
What is it?
@hoodiepap22@NBA If Shai did this, he’d have f’d it up, elbowed the defender, jumped forward to plant his feet under the defender and then fallen over while doing a weird shooting motion. He’d get free throws and the refs would refuse when the Knicks coach demanded a review.
@jimmbomber98888@mike_daddino It probably began before the NBA existed. But the two to really make it worse were LeBron, then SGA. LeBron mainstreamed it, then SGA took it so far it actively sickened people with an appreciation of the game… hall of famers, former coaches, media… even Chinese social media 😭
@jimmbomber98888@mike_daddino No. YOU leave instead of supporting the destruction of a previously great sport.
Don't fall down on your way out the door. 🤣
@FTFonFS1@DannyParkins He didn’t do well, but let’s be honest. There’s only one player in the world who can go off for huge games against Wemby and he is the Joker.
Wow.. media called Shai Gilgeous Alexander the “MVP” — but the tape & data said otherwise on both ends 😳
Isolation defense:
- 1.80 PPP allowed
- Opponents 77.8% FG
- Bottom 0% in the NBA (last place)
Terrible on offense too, yet @ESPN blames Chet.
Nobody can defend this 😂🔥
@ScottKacsmar Lol, no. The Jazz would have beaten him both times and so would the Barkley-lead Phoenix Suns. Bruin would have won the series vs Portland and maybe just maybe vs LA. Not sure about Seattle. It’s also likely the Indiana Pacers would have knocked him out before the finals twice.
@cooley2012@MicroLeagueApp@PlayoffDude Lol, no. The only GREAT teams he faced were the 2014 Spurs and two of the Warriors teams. And even they're arguably weaker than the Chuck Suns or Stockton-Malone Jazz. It's also no coincidence that with a zillion years as a playmaker LeFlop will NEVER catch Stockton in AST or FG%
@MicroLeagueApp@PlayoffDude Lebron's opponents were weaker on average. Only the 2016 Warriors were the exception. Barkley's suns were stronger than anyone else LeBron ever faced, though not as strong as the Laker's he'd have met in 2008-2009 if not for crashing out against the sub 60 win Orlando team.
@PlayoffDude Of course not. Lebron would have traded TO those teams!
After not getting enough respect from the Lakers head office, he'd have hopped to the Suns and gotten two rings with Chuck. Then after getting wiped by the Rockets and then the Bulls, he'd have joined the Jazz in 1997.
@MythNix@AaronJFentress To put that into context for you, MJ's Bulls beat a team with as good of a record as this year's OKC in back to back NBA finals.
And yes there was one year when two teams were over 65. It was 2008-2009. Kobe's Laker's and Bron's Cavs. Kobe won it all. Bron lost to a 59W team.
@MythNix@AaronJFentress It's rare for a team to get over 65. In the 80s, the Lakers, Celtics and 76ers each did it once. In the 90s MJ's Bulls did it 3 times and the Kobe-Shaq Lakers did it once. Two teams never won 65 in the same year in the 80s, 90s or 2010s, but the Bulls won 69+ and faced 64 twice.
