@willdarbyshire 😂😂 class! Sorry we can’t see eye to eye on this. I for one just don’t see this as a threat to the creative industries like you do. It’s a 6 second ad made from prompts. The same people who would have worked on an irl ad would have got a different job I’m sure of it. No stress
@willdarbyshire Like I said - I don’t think Coke are exactly doing this to be cost effective, it’s stupid of you to think so. They’ll be doing it as an experimental project, something that’s never been done before. It’s something that will get lots of attention, which is the whole point of an ad
@willdarbyshire The of course I’d get the outrage. But I guess the plan was always to experiment this year with ai. Nobody’s out of a job, there’s still irl advertisements, everyone’s still happy, the world still turns. The only people who are angry are people who arnt involved 🤷♂️
@willdarbyshire Of course I’m aware but it’s being sad and bitter about something that never existed. If there was a plan to do an advertisement and a crew was hired, pre production has started and then all of a sudden the producer goes, “actually, gonna use Ai this year, don’t need you anymore-
@willdarbyshire I don’t think it’s that, I think it’s more a representation of what’s happening right now in the world, it’s experimenting, I’m sure there was lots of creative decisions made by the graphic designers, and i assume they didn’t do it for free.
