A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.

I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Нормальна людина у свій день народження запалює свічки на торті. А цей убиває людей і зносить багатоповерхівки.

Сьогодні на мирні українські міста летіли «Циркони», «Іскандери», крилаті ракети та більше сотні ударних дронів. Київ, Прилуки, Кременчук, Олександрія, Дніпро, Запоріжжя… З-під завалів об’єктів критичної інфраструктури та багатоквартирних будинків дістають загиблих і постраждалих. Ми досі не знаємо, скільки людей вдасться врятувати, а скільки життів ворог забрав назавжди.

Ми всі хочемо миру, але для початку потрібне негайне, всеосяжне, безумовне і повне припинення вогню. Для цього треба мати аргументи у вигляді далекобійних ракет, ППО і літаків. А також найкращі у світі дипломати, які вміють говорити мовою путіна — Збройні Сили України.

Що сильніша армія, то ближчий справедливий мир. Тому найбільше, що кожен із нас може для цього зробити, — допомагати Збройним Силам.

Today, as a birthday “gift” to Putin, the Russian army destroyed a residential building in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region. It was an ordinary five-story apartment building. Tragically, as of now, five people have been reported killed and 26 injured, including five children. There may still be people under the rubble. First responders are working nonstop at the site – doing everything possible to find every person. Russian missile strikes also damaged five apartment buildings in Dnipro and four high-rise buildings in Kremenchuk. Tragically, two people were killed and eight injured. A high-rise building in Zaporizhzhia was damaged by a drone. In Kyiv, the Russians killed two people. Two more people were killed in Oleksandriya… My condolences to all the families and loved ones of those killed. Overall, infrastructure in Kyiv and 12 regions came under attack last night.

One of the key targets was our energy infrastructure. The Russians wanted to strike painfully and demonstratively. This was one of the most vile strikes: 70 missiles in total, many of them ballistic, as well as “shaheds.” Unfortunately, only some of them were shot down. Russian ballistic missiles remain the greatest challenge. And air defense packages for us right now are a vital necessity. That is why every day we are looking for missiles for Patriot systems that can and must actually protect people’s lives here, in Ukrainian skies. Thank you to everyone who is helping us.

ostatni nasz wyjazd i pobyt na Ukrainie był jednym z tych, których długo nie wyrzuca się z głowy.

Już sam wjazd do Kijowa i uderzenie w Akademię Nauk. Widok ludzi wyskakujących z okien budynków, chaos, ogień, wybuchy… To zostaje w człowieku.

A później było tylko gorzej.

Kolejne dni i noce - ataki praktycznie bez przerwy. Wybuch za wybuchem. Kilkukrotnie uderzenia bardzo blisko naszej okolicy. Jednej nocy ostrzał był tak intensywny w rejonie naszego miejsca noclegu, że rano pojawiły się ukraińskie służby i na dachu rozstawiono dodatkowe zabezpieczenia mające pomagać w zwalczaniu tego, co nadlatywało.

Wyjeżdżaliśmy z Kijowa również w czasie kolejnych alarmów, ataków i uderzeń w infrastrukturę.

I wtedy dotarła do mnie jedna rzecz.

TO DOPIERO POCZĄTEK JESIENI.
Za chwilę przyjdzie zima.

Jeżeli już teraz ataki są tak intensywne i przynoszą tak duże straty, musimy przygotować się na bardzo trudne miesiące.

Dlatego podjąłem decyzję o zmianie sposobu naszego działania.

Od teraz jeszcze większy nacisk kładziemy na bezpośrednią pomoc dla ZSU i ludzi działających na froncie.

Musimy działać TERAZ.

Potrzebujemy każdego, kto może pomóc. Nie liczy się wielkość wpłaty. Liczy się to, ilu z nas stanie obok siebie i powie:

This morning, the Russians once again struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv with a drone. They attacked an ordinary pharmaceutical warehouse in Sumy with drones. Tragically, one person was killed. My condolences to the family and loved ones. In Dnipro, they struck a communications facility. Six people were injured as a result of these attacks.

Overnight, the Russians launched 135 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 50 of them jet-powered. Kyiv, the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions came under attack. And among the main targets of these terrorists, as always, are ordinary residential buildings, critical infrastructure – everything that makes up normal everyday life. There are power outages in some communities. Our services are working at the impact sites.

It is important that Ukraine is not left alone against this terror. This week alone, the Russians have used more than 1,900 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 25 missiles against Ukraine. More than 800 of the drones were jet-powered, and Russia must be held accountable for this escalation.

Today, Friedrich Merz @bundeskanzler – Federal Chancellor of Germany – is visiting Kyiv. A leader of a country that consistently demonstrates leadership in protecting the lives of Ukrainians from Russian strikes. We are grateful for all the support, and today we are preparing decisions to give us in Ukraine, and all of Europe, greater capabilities to defend ourselves. There will be important agreements between Ukraine and Germany. Russia must be stopped together. Thank you to everyone who is helping.
