@joe_trev Hachimura? Interesting, he's a 100% unrestricted free agent. Houston needs a shooter. But I don't know how much Rui is looking for. I see it as complicated.
Free agent F/G Josh Okogie has agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the Utah Jazz, sources tell ESPN. Okogie -- a wing defender who shot 38.5% from 3 last season in Houston -- considered several suitors before the Jazz received the commitment tonight from Okogie and his agent Calvin Andrews of Klutch Sports Group.
Some free agents still available:
PG: J. Harden R. Westbrook G. Vincent B. Williams A. Holiday
SG: B. Brown B. Beal G. Trent Jr G. Payton II
SF: K. Middleton M. Thybulle Z. WilliamsJ. tate
PF: L. James D. Green R. Hachimura
J. Kuminga
C: A. Drummond N. Richards Q. Post
I'm asking myself the following question:
What the heck is Rafael cooking up?
Will there be another trade?
Who are they going to sign?
Houston's offseason is getting interesting heading into the 2026-27 season. 👀
The contract itself would be something like this:
Year 1: $13.89 million
Year 2: $15.00 million
Year 3: $16.20 million
Year 4: $17.50 million
Year 5: $18.90 million (Player option)
Restricted free agent Tari Eason has agreed to a five-year, $81.5 million deal to return to the Houston Rockets, sources tell ESPN. The deal is fully guaranteed for Eason.
Clutchpoints’ @BrettSiegelNBA breaks down a HUGE trade that was briefly discussed involving Jaylen Brown-KD-Sengun 👀
“There were talks about a Kevin Durant trade involving Jaylen Brown and Alperen Sengun… Kevin Durant would’ve gone to the Pistons… The Celtics were gonna get Alperen Sengun and then Jaylen Brown would’ve gone to the Rockets… Ultimately Houston did not want that type of package.”
(via “Clutch Scoops”)
"...I hear the #Rockets are actively shopping Fred VanVleet, they are looking to trade him. His knee is DONE..."
