Hideki Kawahara foi o diretor criativo e Akihiro Tosa foi o diretor técnico da abertura. Ambos são artistas com experiência em Monitor Graphics, enquanto Kawahara, em especial, já trabalhou diretamente com CGI e composição. A estética visual ser assim faz muito sentido.

A equipe de direção da abertura atual de Bleach, e última de TYBW, é a mesma do encerramento da temporada anterior, que se destacava pela sua edição a atributos digitais, o que acontece da mesma forma aqui, porém com muito mais movimento graças aos bons animadores da produção.
