I think I have this problem that guidelines used to make me stuck when I started drawing because I didn't really know how to use them or their right purpose, and now I am kind of hesitant to use them even in perspective, but it does help me a lot now
Idk if this makes sense to everyone, but for me, since I am not that good with fundamentals and try to visualize them still on the sketch part it just ends up making the whole process too exhausting
I think one thing I red that just changed a lot how I was drawing recently was that when you are sketching a piece you shouldn't worry too much about how it looks, if you get too worried about stuff being perfect it just kills the creative process before you can finish the piece
