Not many knew that he arrived to L.A. w/ltl Eng. & was a bus boy. They only knew Dr. Gonzalez. Now he is RIP & his story is my story, respectfully.

@JoseMedinaJr89 @MmeBlouwolff My dad was an immigrant. He wasn't celebrated for being bilingual, but for being a compassionate person & medical doctor. He reached more people bc of his language abilities. He felt marginalized many times 😔. Bilinguals are so valuable. Honor them!
